- How do I register a nickname?
Just enter a nickname and a password on the login page, choose the option "Register / Change registration information" and click the "Chat now!" button. If the chosen nickname is still available, you get a registration page where you can enter all neccessary information.

- How can I change my registered data?
Just do it like when you first registered (see previous answer).

- Where can I see a complete list of chat commands?
A detailed description of all chat commands available can be found in the Chat System User's Guide. There is a link to this page in the chat at the bottom of the right frame.

- What about case sensitivity?
When logging in you can write your nickname any way you want (john, John, JOHN). The password is case sensitive, though. Chat commands have to be written in lower letters.

- Why is it not possible to use certain nicknames?
Either someone already has registered the nickname or it is included in our blacklist. Please, choose a differnt nickname!

- There is this annoying chatter! What can I do?
You can ignore single chatters by using the command /ignore <nickname>. If you want to discontinue ignoring, just use the /nignore command. We also are able to ban annoying persons from the chat. Should there be no Chat admin present, just write an email to the .

- Help! Suddenly I do no longer understand anything!
What does "Kiitos antamastasi elonmerkistä" mean anyway?
Most probably you have entered one of our foreign language chatrooms. Just stick to "English Pub" to chat in English.

- I have forgotten my password!
Just write a mail to the and tell us your nickname, we then will send your password to the email address given during the registration process. If you did not give a valid email address, we can not send you a forgotten password!

- How can I scroll back in the text window?
Increase the number of screen lines: the command "/lines" determines the number of lines before a screen refresh occurs. A value of 150 is a good starting point, if you want to scroll back.

- How can I see who is in the chat from within a chatroom?
Can I whisper to seprooms?
To see the chatters in the chatroom from which you opened the seproom, just hit the button "Who's there?" in the right frame. By using "/who <chatroom>" you can see the chatters in any other chatroom, you just have to give the chatroom name as a parameter.
Whispering among chatrooms and to seprooms will be implemented soon!
